Sistine Chapel 3D Surround-Vision

by davidmcguffin on December 13, 2010

I first visited the Sistine Chapel in 1977.  That was before the famous “cleaning” so all the fresco(s) were dark and sooty.  At the time, that did not matter… I was there and got to see it with my own eyes.

Here is pretty cools site that give an up-close virtual look at the Sistine Chapel.  Believe me, you will never see like this!

I think this is awesome. I would love to see it in person, but 3D technology has advanced so much that its like going there from your own home. Even so i still say that the real thing is better than virtual.

WOW!! I loved this, thanks for showing it. I could recognize a lot of the scenes, but not all. I will have to do a little research on this.
